Grounded Repairs is a board-level electronics repair centre serving the wireless ISP industry. We diagnose and repair telecom equipment that most shops won't touch.

Pricing

Flat rates are available for the most common models and failure modes. Anything not listed is quoted individually after diagnosis — you never pay without approval.

Policies

Repair & returns policy

All repair quotes are provided in advance and require explicit client approval before work begins. Clients are never charged for repairs they have not approved.

All completed repairs carry a 2-year warranty covering the specific fault repaired. This warranty covers parts and labour for the same failure mode. It does not cover new faults, physical damage, lightning damage, or damage caused by incorrect installation after return.

If a repair fails within the warranty period, return shipping is covered by Grounded Repairs and the repair will be redone at no charge.

Devices assessed and deemed uneconomical to repair (BER — Beyond Economical Repair) will be returned to the client. A diagnostic fee may apply; this will be disclosed before the device is shipped to us.

Refunds on completed repairs are not available once work has been performed and approved. If you are dissatisfied with a repair outcome, contact us and we will work to resolve the issue under warranty.

Privacy policy

Grounded Repairs collects only the information necessary to provide repair services — your name, contact information, shipping address, and details about the equipment being repaired.

  • We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as required to fulfil your repair (e.g. shipping carriers).
  • Payment information is handled by our payment processor and is never stored on our systems.
  • We may retain records of completed repairs for warranty and service history purposes.
  • You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
  • We comply with applicable Canadian privacy legislation including PIPEDA.

Terms of service

By submitting equipment to Grounded Repairs for service, you agree to the following:

  • You are the owner of the equipment or are authorized to authorize repairs on it.
  • All repairs are quoted prior to commencement. Work will not begin without your approval.
  • Grounded Repairs is not liable for pre-existing conditions, data loss, or consequential damages.
  • Unclaimed equipment not retrieved within 90 days of repair completion may be considered abandoned.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of Canada.
